The body of the new JOSKIN
Trans-KTP tipping trailer is completely made of 4 mm
HARDOX450 steel. This type of steel has very
interesting elastic properties, as it takes its initial
shape back after deformation. Compared to traditional
steel, its elastic limit is 4 to 5 times higher.
The Whole body is based on
2 steel sheets, without any linking cross wield.
As they are made of HARDOX,
they can be designed differently: the shape and the geometry
of the body have been completely revised so that the steel
can warp optimally. As a result, the lateral
reinforcing posts and the cross pieces under the body are
not necessary anymore.
Thanks to the conical shape
of the body, the contents of the trailer flow out freely.
This unmatched property is further reinforced by the
successive folds aiming at smoothing off the edges of the
body.
The
reinforced upper strip increases the resistance of the side
walls and also aims at supporting optional extensions.
The rear door is still made
of high tensile steel. Only the 2-part hydraulic door
is available with these capacities.
The shot-blasting (2.400
kg/min) and drying (60°C) process leads to a perfect
adhesion of the primer paint coat, on which a 2-component
finishing lacquer is applied in order to ensure the
long-lasting character of the treatment.
